Privacy policy

At OSMOSIS IA we look after your data the same way we ask others to look after our clients’ data. This policy explains what data osmosisia.com collects, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It follows Dominican Republic Law 172-13 on personal data protection and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible

OSMOSIS IA is in the process of being incorporated. Once it is, we will update this policy with its legal name and tax ID (RNC).
What data we collect
- Contact form: name, email, company (optional), the process you are interested in, your message and, if you used the calculator, its figures.
- Chat quick form: name, email, WhatsApp (optional) and your conversation with the agent.
- Agent chat: the messages you write, so we can answer you.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic connection data, which the server uses to work and to protect itself from abuse.
We do not ask for sensitive data, such as health or banking data. Please do not type it into the chat or the forms.
What we use it for
- To answer your request and schedule the free audit. Legal basis: your consent when you send the form, and the pre-contract steps you ask us to take.
- To answer your questions in the chat. Legal basis: your consent, since you use it voluntarily.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We will not send you newsletters or promotions without asking for separate consent first. We do not make automated decisions that affect you: the chat only provides information.
Who we share it with
Only with the providers that run the site, which process the data to provide their service to us:
- Vercel (United States): hosts the site and counts visits anonymously.
- Resend (United States): emails us the data from the forms.
- Hostinger: hosts our email.
- Xiaomi (MiMo service): generates the chat answers from your messages, under its own terms of service.
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, its terms also apply.
Some of these providers process data outside the Dominican Republic and the European Union. By accepting this policy you consent to those transfers. Where the provider offers them, they are protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Requests from people who do not become clients: up to 24 months from the last contact. Then we delete them.
- Clients: for as long as the relationship lasts. When it ends, we delete working copies within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.
- Chat messages: we do not store them. If you send the quick form, the conversation becomes part of your request.
- IP address used to prevent abuse: one hour at most.
- Technical logs: Resend keeps a log of each email sent for 30 days, and the hosting logs are deleted automatically within a few days.
Cookies and browser storage
The site does not use tracking cookies or advertising tools. To know how many people visit it we use Vercel Analytics, which uses no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you: it only counts visits in aggregate. The site also stores two technical settings in your browser that do not identify you: whether you prefer the light or dark theme and, during your session, the calculator figures used to fill in the form. You can clear them from your browser at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time for:
- Access: to know what data we hold about you.
- Rectification: to correct anything that is wrong.
- Erasure: to delete it.
- Objection and restriction: to stop using it, or to use it only for certain purposes.
- Portability: to receive it in a format you can take to another service.
- To withdraw your consent, without affecting what we did before.
Email agent@osmosisia.com with the subject “Privacy”. We reply within 30 days at most and may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you are not satisfied, in the Dominican Republic you can go to court through a habeas data action. If you live in the European Union, you can also complain to your country’s data protection authority.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to the team members who need it and keep service keys encrypted, outside the code. No system is infallible: if an incident affected your data, we would let you know.
Minors
Our services are meant for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything important, we will publish it on this page with its update date.
